Using a welding torch with a small, precise flame, I fuse, bend, flow and build bronze, copper, silver or gold wire or sheet into finished pieces of original jewelry. There are very few people creating jewelry directly from raw materials with welding torches, compared to the great number of jewelers using traditional methods of casting, forging and silversmithing. The technique I use allows a spontaneity and individuality of design that is almost impossible with traditional methods. I am continually refining my technique and exploring new directions of design. At the same time, I make sure my jewelry is very comfortable and wearable.
